My journey to product design was not linear. I started out as a healthcare intern, working in nearly every clinical department as a physical therapist. At the same time, I was helping athletes get back to their peak performance. It was through working with these sensitive groups—patients with their unique needs—that I realized I wanted to create solutions with a broader impact.

Whether it’s solving new problems or finding better solutions for existing ones, I saw how design could touch many lives, especially those who are often overlooked or underrepresented. The idea of amplifying my impact from one person to potentially hundreds or even more is what drew me to user experience design.

If you catch me in my free time, you’ll find me either starting out as a wannabe trail runner, half-meditating in Pilates sessions, or driving my loved ones crazy by analyzing every character in the shows we watch together.
